Theme Park Fireworks Show

For one of the largest theme parks in the world, AMC fabricated the framework for a series of massive stainless-steel structures that serve as the centerpiece of the park’s end-of-day fireworks show. In the center of the park’s main lagoon, this nighttime spectacular takes place on five floating platforms holding the structures, which house complex show action equipment including choreographed water fountains, lighting, video projection, and pyrotechnics. The central ring structure stands five stories tall with a water curtain that creates a screen for projecting video and features four 54-foot-long steel arms that move throughout the show. Flanking the ring are four barges with LED screens, each with their own moving steel arm that holds additional special effects of fountain nozzles, lighting, and pyrotechnic cannons. The project totaled 65,000 pounds of fabricated steel shipped across the country and assembled on site.
