Luzia Russian Swings

For Cirque du Soleil’s touring production of Luzia, AMC fabricated a duo of Russian Swings, standing apparatuses that vault acrobats high into the air. AMC used its precision machining to create the A-frames for both sets of swings and curved the rest of the frame into an elegant tear drop shape. The swing platforms were reinforced to hold the weight of two performers as they jump as high as 35 feet in the air and land between the two swings.
