Hulk’s Gammasphere

For the 2003 Marvel movie, Hulk, AMC fabricated an alumninum re-creation of the Gammasphere, the technical device that malfunctions, giving Bruce Banner his superhero powers. The Gammasphere was modeled after an actual scientific experiment, which includes more than 75 hollow tunnels inset within hexagonal pieces that were welded together. The impressive set piece was created as two halves that would nest together for the pivotal moments of the film.
