Omega Mart

For Meow Wolf’s surrealist art installation and experience, Omega Mart, AMC designed, fabricated, and installed the major pieces of the attraction’s “Factory.” The unique steel structures inside the three-story, 25,000-square-foot space were conceptualized by artists from the Meow Wolf collective and then designed and constructed by AMC to allow guests an interactive experience walking up stairs, across catwalks, and down double helix slides. The tunnels, enclosures and other elements feature neon lighting and video projection which illuminates the steel and further enhances the industrial theme. AMC fabricated all of the elements in its shop, then disassembled the pieces for delivery to fit through the single warehouse bay door at the facility. AMC’s team installed the elements inside the tight space through boom lifts and even rigging pieces from the ceiling for the large loads.
